The self-adhesive abrasive paper IMPERIAL LAPPING FILM is a precision abrasive designed to produce a precision finish. It combines ultrafine grades of diamond particles, a resin bonding system and highly uniform polyester backing. The resin bond is waterproof. It is also non sensitive to other ordinary lubricants such as mineral spirits, alcohol, water soluble oils and most straight oils. The polyester backing provides a dense and precise yet flexible platform for the diamond abrasive. It is an excellent tool for finishing applications and operations requiring close tolerance lapping or grinding.
