Magnetic polishing is the ideal preliminary stage for wet processing and replaces the conventional electrolytic
Shine bath. Tiny steel pins whirl through the working tank in a water/compound mixture during this mechanical polishing process. Like hundreds of small hammers, they set a shine every time they hit the surface of the workpiece. This is achieved after only approx. 15 - 30 minutes:
- Complete removal of oxide discoloration and investment residues
- Gloss even on difficult to access filigree areas
However, since no significant material removal takes place during machining, the removal of casting skin and emery marks by magnetic polishing not possible.
This step is carried out during wet grinding.
Includes: 200 g stainless steel needles M 4/7 and 1 litre SC 25 Compound
