Course Topic:

Manufacturing of special gravers and understanding their sharpening geometry.

Course Objective:

Learn advanced techniques using new graver shapes and achieve an improvement in engraving quality.                               

Target Audience:

This course is aimed at all interested professionals in the stone-setting and goldsmithing industries who are already familiar with the latest techniques of GRS pneumatic engraving systems and have attended the Advanced Techniques course.

Course Content: 

• • Manufacturing of special gravers in various shapes, taking into consideration the appropriate sharpening geometry
  • Demonstration of special gravers and their applications
  • Participants practice the techniques on specially prepared practice pieces
  • Participants receive written course documentation and training materials

Training Room :

All workstations are equipped identically: height-adjustable workbenches, stereo microscopes, BenchMate systems, and GraverMax units.   

Consumables:

Pre-fabricated carbide gravers and practice pieces are provided. Carbide blanks for individual customization and further processing can be purchased by participants..
